Regional Sports Networks (RSNs) are included when you subscribe to the Just Right package or higher. RSNs air professional and collegiate sports, as well as domestic and international amateur sports, on networks like Fox Sports, Comcast SportsNet, Longhorn Network, etc. Use RSN Lookup to locate the channels for your area.
Note: Beginning May 11, 2017, Longhorn Network is a Regional Sports Network.
To confirm your subscription package:
- Sign in to your DIRECTV NOW account.
- In your User Account, select Manage My Plan.
- Your current subscription displays and can be changed at any time.
Local channels aren’t available when you travel outside of your billing zip code and metro area. So, if you travel to a market outside your billing zip code, local channels and RSNs will be unavailable to watch.
Remember, you only can watch the RSN or local station while the following match:
- Your billing zip code
- Your current location when streaming from a device
Some sporting events may only be eligible for viewing in certain viewing areas. For example, if the NBA sells broadcasting rights to MSG for a Knicks game in the New York City market, only customers in that local market can watch the Knicks games on MSG.
Although networks like TNT provide national coverage and permit sports events to be broadcast throughout the country, those networks may restrict showings where an RSN is also broadcasting the same event.
