If you choose to cancel service you can restart an account at any time.
We'd hate to see you go, but to cancel service:
- Sign in to your account using a supported browser.
- Select the person icon in the upper right to access account settings.
- Select User Account.
- Select Manage My Plan.
- Select the Cancel Plan link and choose from the reasons provided.
- Select Cancel Now to confirm cancellation. To ensure that your cancellation request is processed same day, it must be submitted no later than 7pm EST. Cancel requests entered later than 7pm EST will be processed on the following day.
Note: Service can only be cancelled from a web browser, not from within the mobile app.
Since DIRECTV NOW charges are prepaid each month, you can enjoy the service through the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds or credits will be issued for partial months.
